Dystopia, Interrupted.

This is what humanity can accomplish of doing. This is what humanity can accomplish of being.
Humanity is a college student shot dead in a massacre. Humanity is a mother with her children in the face of adversity. Humanity is an executor blasting a shot in the enemy’s head. Humanity is an officer seizing an immigrant child at gun point. Humanity is a dictator inspecting his genocide army. Humanity is an unknown man halting advancing tanks. Humanity is a son of an assassinated president giving his final salute. Humanity is a photojournalist killed shortly after taking his final photographs. Humanity is a guerrilla leader with a sorrowful gaze. Humanity is a bishop carrying a wounded protester. Humanity is a monk burning himself before overlooking passersby.
Humanity, in history, are both cause, and effect. Of itself.
What a pity, humanity is mostly effect, vague as it is unsubstantial, when it is no longer a cause.
Unless I am wrong. This is not what humanity can accomplish of doing, this is not what humanity can accomplish of being.
This is what humanity can accomplish learning from.
