If last year's Pesta Blogger had been a quest to gather new voices of Indonesia, now it's time to step forward and acknowledge their significance and contribution in public realms. Blogging for society, as its main theme, symbolized the mission to present acts of charity, spirit of nationalism and humanitarian issues which are carried out through open communities also in the blogging network. This year's gathering also emphasizes individual and collective creativity that help empower such causes, facilitated by projects such as Pesta Blogger photo contest, logo design competition, in addition to regional community projects.

Pesta Blogger 2008 will be held this Saturday, 22nd November at Auditorium Gedung BPPT II, 3rd Floor, Jl. MH. Thamrin 8, Jakarta 10340.

Meanwhile, IndoPacific Edelman, global communication consultant, and Blogfam, blog hosting service, collaboratively spreading out an online survey on local bloggers. This survey expectantly would provide a comprehensive overview of the country's internet-using demographic, specifically its bloggers. Feel free to fill it out from widget below.
