 Armin van Buuren, the #1 DJ in the world, chief of Armada Records, and a proud black shirt owner, performed in Jakarta for the second time round. I didn’t came, was busy taking care of personal errands and wasn’t much in the mood for partying–like, for a year now?. However I am forever doomed to live in painful regret for not coming to this one. First (and hopefully won’t be the last) time I enjoyed AVB’s live performance when he was spinning during the Godskitchen festival around two years ago and it was one hell of a ride. Just as how Tiesto did back in 2006, Van Buuren also extended his mix for couple of hours during his last tour in Jakarta.

The Elektra 666-organized event might be the second big thing for the city’s clubbers (not ravers though. two different thing.) after Beyonce’s “The Beyonce Experience” Concert on the 1st November 2007 at JITEC, Mangga Dua Square, Jakarta. For best social gathering event, no doubt it’s Pesta Blogger 2007.

Next stop? Paul van Dyk and Bjork on February 2008.
