Achmad Sudarsono

Yes, that’s Sumanto you’re looking at.
About Achmad Sudarsono and his infamous ukulele. We don’t know either to just hate this guy or to hate this guy from the bottom of our sincere hearts. Achmad Sudarsono exists in the extraterresterial realms of Indonesia Matters which consists mainly of nitrogen and carbondioxide, some rocks, and a genuinely explicit love for Indonesia–not suitable for the reputable sane. Achmad claims himself to be an emerging Indonesian poet, philosopher, columnist, Pencak Silat master and cabaret singer, and his mandate is: To take on the tough issues. His infamous jargon is: “To tell The Truth. To Tell It Like It Is!.”.
Achmad is quite similar to those characters on screen we thought never existed for real, a spontaneous and yet carefully orchestrated mixture of Southpark’s Cartman, Johnny Bravo, Ali G, or ones starred by Jack Black–problem is, the character got hit quite hard on the head somewhere at the rural Java, wake up at a nearby Pantura disco-dangdut warung, and resurrect as a new Javanese man and a true devout of the Majapahit empire.
Anyways, if you think Achmad’s a bit intimidating, you just haven’t seen Oigal dude there–he must be a Russian. Find Achmad Sudarsono’s articles here at Indonesia Matters or read his latest article here titled “White Men in Indonesia: A Guide By Achmad”; he has been commenting on some blogs as well, but to link them up here one by one would be utterly obsessive and I’d hate to jeopardize Pak Achmad’s fragile ego.
Pompous and mannered protagonist signs autographs, but it’s the compassionate antagonist that makes the battle worthwhile.

Hello. You are now reading an article written by The Lightbeamers, published on 30Dec07 along with other notes on Blogosphere, People, Top Ten.
Still can't find the answer you're looking for?
Perhaps you'd find one from

Whatever Mr Achmad Sudarsono is, he is by no means an idealist. My best guess is that Mr Achmad S. is a rather poor impersonation of a stand up comedian.
colson’s last blog post..killing people = killing hope ?
Who’s he? …and where the hell is Matt Mullenweg?!?
@ colson
In a world where there are no heroes, characters such as Achmad Sudarsono can be one.
If Achmad’s really that good, he’d find where that world is..
@ Lily
I kept him safe in my heart.
Friend,
Indeed yes, I am in the midst of a tour of the Dangdut bars on Pantura. Va Va Voom ! Merdeka ! But friend, my main accomplishment of 2007 was “breaking” the story about world superpowers interest in Indonesia’s UFO technology. The FBI and CIA have run out of aliens to dissect at Area 51, so now they want the technology in our monuments like Borodbudur, which are ancient aliens communications post. How could Mojopahit be so advanced with out just a little help ? Friend, that story hit the international UFO blogs.
Soon, friend, I will feature some international reviews of my poetry, writings and “Achmad: Unplugged at Blora” (that’s Blora in Jakarta, by Sudirman.
Va Va Voom ! Merdeka !

No problem, pak Achmad.
If Marisa sees no problem, I think I will be safe as well. So, thanks for your invitation, bBut promise, Achmed Esquire, to discuss the latest novel (Exit) by Philip Roth with me, while playing your ukulele.
