WordPress.org Indonesia is Launched!
Yeap. Spread the Wp lovin. You might be already familiar with WordPress.com ala Indonesia, and now Indonesia has its own Bahasa Indonesia-written documentations down at WordPress.org!
What’s the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org? Read it here. Basically, if you’re running on your own domain, you’re in WordPress.org (such as this site, it’s using WordPress publishing software but it’s running on marisaduma.net domain), and if you’re using the free one (commonly ends with the domain ‘wordpress.com’ for its url) you’re in the WordPress.com area of the WP-powered blogosphere. If you’re looking for more flexibility in using plugins, javascript-ed widgets, and theme customization, I suggest you use the independent WordPress.org, and if you’re more into the friendly website start-ups with no fuss and just publication, you’re free to use WordPress.com. But still, it’s WordPress and I’m a big buff on it, so both works just fine.
WordPress.org’s official Indonesia site is majorly under construction (especially the Codex section), but it’s there and works just as well. So go check it out here. And if you missed out the WordPress.com version, go here.

I’ve written several plugins and enjoy tweaking other peoples plugins (for SEO reasons) and am curious, how is the Indonesian version of wordpress coming along 60 days later ?

Plugins directory isn’t available yet though.
