Major Clubs Launch Official Websites
Buzz! Two of Jakarta’s major clubs are now launching their official websites this month. First launch is Stadium club’s (Hayam Wuruk) in conjunction with its 10th anniversary and X2 club’s (Senayan) on the second round. The grand launching parties will be held on the 27th October and the 2nd November, check both flyers and reserve some spots if you’re into partying in the city. More info and review later, until both sites are officially out.

Hiya Marisa!
First of all, congratulations with your interesting and beautiful designed blog.
Since I am an Indonesia lover (even my partner is from Indonesia) I will definitively come back to check up on what you have to say.
There is one thing I do not like about your blog. Popup advertisements :( Those are annoying.
I don’t mind text ads, google adsense, bidvertiser, (even have ads myself on my blog), whatever, but popups are disrupting my ‘internet experience’. I hope you will consider putting other kinds of ads in the future.
Anyway, good luck with your blog, and hope to see you on my blog sometime too.

Hi Rick! Thanks for stopping by.
Yes, I’ve been trying to get rid of those pop-ups too! Guess it comes with the AdSense javascript codes. I’m not sure. Let me know if you have figured out how.
Kinda feel guilty placing ads on this blog, really.
I’ll go check on your blog right away!
Maybe they should have like a say no to drugs logo somewhere on the site?
That, my friend, would be the moral of this story. Maybe they should? I know both of the clubs’ management execs, hopefully they could read your comment! :D
One of ‘em is my (ex) client, but since I was just the “spare-part” designer, and I have to follow a hoax design (which comes in *jpg format and not *.php, which is just hillarious) so the deal’s off.
Hi Marisa,
I have looked through the source of your blog as we can see it here on the internet, but I have to admit I didn’t look very carefully :) So maybe you could ask one of your computerbuddies (every girl have some yes ? :P) to have a _real_ look :D
As far as I can see there is nothing really strange. Although I doubt that Google’s adsense allowes popups, it could be another advertising company you’re hooked up with, with or without you knowing. Maybe it is in the blog code itself. who build it ? What is K-2, by the way ?

UPDATE to my last comment:
I think I found it. You are using Motigo for your website statistics, right ? Look what they say about their service in their ‘terms of service’:
Products and Services
WMS entitles users to access to a variety of on-line and interactive on-line services (the “Products and Services”). Some of the Products and Services are supported by advertising, enabling WMS to provide them to you at no cost. When you use these free services, you agree to allow WMS to display advertising, including third party advertising, through the Products and Services.
I think that if you use another service (like google analytics [ http://www.google.com/analytics ], which is very reasonable and also free, and without third party advertisements) and delete the motigo service, you won’t have those popups anymore.
Good luck !

the club gives you hoax design? i don’t get it..
Nope je, the previous designer did. To the club.
@ Rick
Thanks! You’re right, I guess it’s the Motigo stats. I’ve scrapped it off.
Thanks for pointing that out for me. Really appreciate it!
Hi Marisa,
Glad to be of any help.
Rick.
